We’re a locally owned and operated electrical contractor in Bozeman, MT, and we’re currently hiring Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician Service Techs to join our growing team.
We’re looking for electricians who take pride in their work, communicate clearly, and enjoy solving electrical challenges in both residential and commercial environments.
Position Overview
As a Journeyman or Master Electrician Service Tech at Rocky Mountain Electric, you’ll work on a wide range of service, repair, and troubleshooting projects throughout the Gallatin Valley. This role requires strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial electrical systems
- Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and service work efficiently and safely
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Maintain clean, organized work practices and company vehicles
- Complete assigned service calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Represent Rocky Mountain Electric with a positive, team-focused attitude
Requirements
- Valid Montana Journeyman Electrician License (or Master Electrician License)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated skilled and efficient tradesmanship
- Clean driving record
- Self-motivated with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common electrical issues
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with up to 50 hours available
Pay & Schedule
- $40–$45 per hour (depending on experience and licensing)
- Full-time, year-round position
- Overtime opportunities available
